13 million PS4's sold I don't know the numbers from Black Friday but the last were like 6.6mil X1's sold. So yeah, PS4 is still winning. The price cut for the X1 is only temporary and there's no way in hell it got them up to 13 million units sold. Sony didn't make a bad move they didn't make a move they could just as easily cut the price for Christmas. In fact because Microsoft did that, they probably will. Or do a deal so that if you buy a PS4 you get some months PS+ for free, which is a better deal really this month we get Injustice Gods Among Us Ultimate Edition for free so they're probably going to shell out more AAA titles from now on. I don't get why people act like Sony is finished already or that they're a bad company in general, it's not their fault Yen falls against the Dollar if they were an American company with the same ideals their financial situation would be fine. Also we have the VR headset coming if Sony can make it good enough to revolutionize gaming they'll get a huge boost, it's something people have wanted for years and I doubt Facebook will do much good with the Oculus. Farmville on Oculus? Yay! Microsoft makes stupid decisions too. Mojang for 2.5 billion... |

I know Sony isn't finished, and more then likely if things do get too bad for them... they'll pull off some decision that keeps them relevant and keeps their doors open. My money is on them becoming a Software Only Company, or possibly a Playstation Only Company... I'm fine with either, just as long as Sony doesn't go out of business. Yeah, Microsoft makes stupid decisions all the time, I bashed the crap out of them from that DRM stunt they pulled, and bashed them for putting the Kinect... that was very stupid on their part and I'm sure it hurt the sales of the Xbox One, as it should have. Also, I laughed when I heard about Microsoft bought Mojang... what were they thinking? I really don't care who it is... Microsoft, Sony or Nintendo, if they do something stupid I'm going to point it out and take shots at them for it, but if they do something smart then I'll praise them for it, but still remain cautious if they've done something stupid prior to that decision. |

Yeah imagine their funds were reversed, Microsoft would be dead by now just because Sony has hardly any money doesn't mean they're a bad company it annoys me seeing fanboys say that pretty much if not entirely because they don't like PlayStation. I'm sure Sony would make daft decisions too if they had as much money as Microsoft but as it is in our reality they make good decisions, mostly. |

Eh, that's where I disagree with you... Microsoft would have t lose their PC Division and then have the same budget as Sony, then they would be in deep trouble. Their PC side makes money hand over fist and if you compared that to the money the Playstation 4 makes, Microsoft would win that race every time. However, I've heard things about Microsoft trying to detach themselves away from Xbox and the Xbox Division become it's own gaming Company, not sure if that's true or not, but usually what I hear is true. If Xbox does do that and Sony gets even worse, possibly Xbox buy out Sony, or perhaps a merger? I know extremely unlikely, but it's not impossible. |

I mean if they used the same decisions they would run themselves in to the ground. Though in that world they'd have to be insane to buy Mojang for that much, though it isn't worth it so potentially affordable at a lower cost. I doubt it, I think if Xbox does that then so will PlayStation which can easily stand on it's own. Really doubt they'd do a merger the Japanese hate Xbox there's not really a market for it over there. PlayStation and Nintendo rule the land with Nintendo out on top IIRC. |

That's why I said it's extremely unlikely, because I knew how far fetched it was... in other words I don't even buy it. Here's a little fun fact, when Nintendo came to America, they approached Atari due to being afraid of them not succeeding in the states because of them and offered the rights to them for the US, and instead of being smart and taking the deal Atari thought they would be alright and sell all their back stock... if only Atari knew then what they know now, they might have been the top dog for many Generations. And I'm sure Nintendo is kicking themselves over stabbing Sony in the back way back in the day too, because it's because of Nintendo and their actions that caused Sony to become a Gaming Company too... my my, how one action can change so much. Much like throwing a stone in a pond huh? |
